Anita Among withdraws from race for Speaker of the 12th Parliament

According to the Daily Monitor, Anita Among announced on her official X account that she would not seek re-election as Speaker, saying she wanted to maintain unity in the NRM. She pledged support for candidates endorsed by the President and the party and said she would cooperate with investigators.
