Principal Magistrate Paul Mujuni of the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court denied bail to Timothy Segane and remanded him to Murchison Bay Prison, Luzira, until 16 September 2026. According to ChimpReports, he faces four charges including false customs declarations, tax evasion, corruption and conspiracy to break customs laws, and the prosecution says the government lost hundreds of millions of shillings.
