ChimpReports reported that the Anti-Corruption Court remanded Patrick Okello, Commissioner for Refugees Management in the Office of the Prime Minister, and Assistant IT Officer Noel Ikwap to Luzira Prison on abuse of office charges brought by the Inspectorate of Government. Magistrate Esther Asiimwe adjourned the case to 10 August 2026 for mention and a bail hearing after the prosecution said investigations were continuing.
