Army chief Muhoozi posts threats against Bobi Wine on X

Al Jazeera reported that on 20 January 2026 Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba wrote on X that security forces had killed 22 NUP 'terrorists' since the previous week, said he hoped Bobi Wine would be next, and gave Wine 48 hours to surrender to police. The killings claim was not independently verified.
