According to the Daily Monitor, Attorney General Sam Mayanja supported President Museveni's proposal to turn Kampala's City Square into a commercial complex with a hotel and shopping mall. He also rejected businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba's claim to a stake in the City Square land.
