Attorney General says Tooro Kingdom free to proceed with coronation preparations

Attorney General Sam Mayanja said Tooro Kingdom authorities may continue preparing to enthrone a new Omukama because no formal challenge had been registered in court, according to the Daily Monitor. He referred to his September 12 legal opinion to the President, which said the validity of the late king's Will could only be contested in court amid a dispute between royal family members and some Tooro elders.
