Auditor General presents 2024/25 annual audit report to Parliament, flagging procurement and PDM gaps

Auditor General Edward Akol handed the 2024/25 annual audit report to Speaker Anita Among, The Independent reported. According to Akol, the report found cost variations of up to 100% for similar goods across ministries, procurements outside the e-procurement system, and gaps in the Parish Development Model including ineligible or non-existent projects and duplication or diversion of funds.
