According to The Independent, presidential candidates and their agents met the Electoral Commission and police leaders, headed by Edward Ochom, on Monday to discuss police breaking up campaign meetings. The paper says the candidates accused police of overlooking violations by NRM candidates and supporters. NUP secretary general Lewis Rubongoya questioned whether Covid-19 rules were applied evenly.
