CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba publicly endorses Jacob Oboth-Oboth for Speaker of Parliament

The Daily Monitor reports that the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, publicly endorsed West Budama Central MP Jacob Oboth-Oboth as the Patriotic League of Uganda's preferred candidate for Speaker. The paper reports that Oboth-Oboth's candidature was launched the following day with backing from PLU, NRM CEC members and hundreds of MPs.
