CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba signals PLU may not back Speaker Among for 12th Parliament

According to ChimpReports, army chief and PLU leader Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted on X that PLU had 'another candidate' for Speaker of the 12th Parliament and would follow President Museveni rather than the NRM Central Executive Committee, which had endorsed Speaker Anita Among. In other posts he said he had never sat in a Rolls Royce and could not support corruption, which the outlet linked to reports that Among had recently acquired a Rolls Royce that she reportedly said was a gift.
