CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba apologises to the US and retracts posts on suspending military cooperation

Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted a statement on X apologising to the United States and saying he had deleted earlier posts because they relied on wrong information. According to ChimpReports, the earlier posts had accused the US Embassy in Kampala of undermining security cooperation and said the UPDF would suspend cooperation with the US mission. He said he had spoken to the US Ambassador and that military cooperation would continue as usual.
