Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo formally handed over office to Deputy Chief Justice Flavian Zeija, ending his five-year tenure at the head of the Judiciary, according to ChimpReports. Judicial leaders including Justice Zeija, Principal Judge Jane Frances Abodo and Judiciary Secretary Pius Bigirimana praised his reforms at the farewell.
