Collins Tanga wins NRM National Youth League chair in party leadership elections

Collins Tanga won the NRM National Youth League chairmanship with 2,185 votes against Brenda Kiconco's 1,017, according to results released by the NRM Electoral Commission. The vote, held across the party's 151 districts, had earlier been suspended over disputes about candidate eligibility, including challenges to Tanga's own eligibility; he is the son of NRM Electoral Commission chairperson Dr Tanga Odoi.
