Commonwealth Lawyers Association calls for Sam Mugumya to be produced in court

The Commonwealth Lawyers Association issued a statement backing the Uganda Law Society's efforts to locate activist Sam Mugumya, a former aide to Dr Kizza Besigye, and urged Ugandan authorities to disclose his whereabouts, health and legal status. The association called for him to be brought before court under a habeas corpus application and for those responsible for his detention to be held to account.
