A grade one magistrate committed Congolese national Samuel Muhindo Musyenene, a cashier with MK Cash Express Limited, to the High Court for trial under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Prosecutors allege he brought $1,596,250 into Uganda through Kikorongo-Mpondwe, Kasese, on 4 July 2026 without declaring it to URA. The prosecution's summary says investigators did not link him or the money to subversive activities.

A national event, not tied to one district.
