COSASE summons Uganda Airlines management after officials miss hearing on audit queries

Parliament's COSASE committee issued summonses to Uganda Airlines' top management after they did not appear to answer queries from the Auditor General's 2025 report, according to the Daily Monitor. Chairperson Muwada Nkunyingi directed that police serve the summonses and that the officials, including current and former CEOs, appear on Thursday. Nkunyingi said the audit report raised issues including government investment of Shs1.984 trillion against Shs200 million recorded as share capital, aircraft leasing and aviation fuel contracts.
