Deputy Speaker Tayebwa receives more than 250 NUP defectors into NRM in Tooro sub-region

Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa presided over a ceremony in the Tooro sub-region at which more than 250 former NUP supporters from Kyenjojo, Bunyangabu and Ntoroko districts were received into the NRM, according to Nile Post. Some of the defectors, including former NUP candidates, said a lack of campaign facilitation was among their reasons for leaving.
