DP President General Norbert Mao announces candidacy for Speaker of the 12th Parliament

Norbert Mao, Democratic Party President General, Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs and MP-elect for Laroo-Pece, announced at a press conference that he will stand for Speaker of the 12th Parliament. He said he had consulted MPs-elect and the President, and that he wants Parliament to act as a check on the executive, saying the country is losing the fight against grand corruption.
