EC releases sixth provisional presidential tally showing Museveni at 71.88 percent

Electoral Commission chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama announced provisional results from 47,499 of 50,739 polling stations, with Yoweri Museveni on 71.88 percent and NUP's Robert Kyagulanyi on 24.46 percent. Kyagulanyi had rejected the figures, alleging fraud and intimidation.
