Education Minister Janet Museveni directs universities to align programmes with competence-based curriculum by 2027/28

In a speech read on her behalf by Higher Education Minister John Chrysostom Muyingo at Kyambogo University's graduation on December 11, Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni reiterated a directive that all university programmes be aligned with the Competence-Based Curriculum framework by the start of the 2027/2028 academic year. She also encouraged universities to develop their own income-generating projects, the Daily Monitor reported.
