Electoral Commission begins issuing Voter Location Slips nationwide for 2026 elections

The Electoral Commission began issuing Voter Location Slips to voters across the country on 15 December 2025, with the exercise due to end on 13 January 2026, according to The Independent. The slips carry the voter's photograph, particulars, polling station and a barcode to be read by Biometric Voter Verification machines. The Commission's chairperson said the slips are free and must be collected in person from parish or ward supervisors.
