Electoral Commission rejects 32 presidential aspirants over insufficient supporter signatures

According to the Daily Monitor, of 221 aspirants who picked nomination and signature forms for the 2026 presidential election, only 38 returned them. Thirty-two were told by the Electoral Commission that their submissions fell short of the minimum 9,800 valid supporter signatures required for nomination.
