The Electoral Commission withdrew officers assigned to NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) and deployed new ones, acting spokesperson Paul Bukenya said, after Kyagulanyi rejected his guards, alleging some took part in his beating on nomination day. NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi said the party still rejected the security detail but did not object to the officers being around.
