Electoral Commission says it has begun dispatching ballot papers and polling materials for 2026 elections

In a year-end statement, the Electoral Commission said it had received ballot papers for the presidential, parliamentary and district woman representative elections and had dispatched ballot boxes and other materials to all districts and cities. The Commission said the handling was witnessed by candidates' agents, parties, media and observers, and that biometric voter verification kits would be mandatory at polling.
