Energy ministry finalises Building Substances Bill to regulate sand, murram and clay mining

According to Nile Post, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development has finalised the Building Substances Bill, which would set licensing, fees and environmental rules for extracting sand, murram and clay. Commissioner for Mines Agnes Alaba said the draft is ready for Cabinet.
