FDC aspirant Habib Buwembo petitions Electoral Commission to inspect Museveni's nomination papers

Habib Buwembo, the FDC parliamentary aspirant for Lubaga South, petitioned the Electoral Commission requesting to inspect the full nomination file of President Yoweri Museveni, according to ChimpReports. Buwembo said he wanted to establish whether Museveni was a registered voter after a name change and whether the nomination fee was paid, and that he intended to file a complaint of fraud and forgery. EC spokesperson Paul Bukenya said the chairperson would review the letter and communicate a decision.
