Former EALA aspirant Mugerwa Abdallah Hamtono writes to Speaker challenging election of new EALA MPs

In a letter to the Speaker of Parliament, former EALA aspirant Mugerwa Abdallah Hamtono said the Clerk to Parliament refused to receive his nomination papers and that the two NRM candidates were approved without a vote, which he argued breaches Article 50 of the EAC Treaty. He said he reserves the right to go to the national courts and the East African Court of Justice if the matter is not addressed.
