Former Justice Esther Kisaakye rejects jurisdiction of judicial tribunal probing her conduct

Speaking in an X Space hosted by the Uganda Law Society, former Supreme Court Justice Esther Kisaakye said she is a retired judge and that the tribunal appointed by President Museveni to inquire into her alleged misconduct has no jurisdiction over her. According to The Independent, she said she does not intend to appear before the tribunal, described the proceedings as unconstitutional, and said she is living outside Uganda in self-exile.
