Four Manafwa officials charged and remanded over theft of UGX 8 million PDM SACCO funds

According to ChimpReports, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, working with the CID and the Office of the DPP, arraigned four officials before the Chief Magistrate's Court on charges of theft and conspiracy to commit a felony. Prosecutors allege that in December 2025 the four, with others still at large, stole UGX 8 million belonging to Buwanzala PDM SACCO and its beneficiaries; the court remanded them until 10 June 2026.
