Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba announced on X that the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) was dissolved, with its functions and budgets to go to Operation Wealth Creation, and said the status of its chairman Odrek Rwabwogo was under discussion. He also advised the Finance Ministry to send to the UPDF a reported Shs52 billion payment he linked to Rwabwogo. Rwabwogo had said earlier in the week that only the President could end PACEID's mandate, and PACEID said it remained operational, according to ChimpReports.
