Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba posts on X that he will shoot missing opposition activist Sam Mugumya

According to the Daily Monitor, Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba wrote on X that he was going to shoot Sam Mugumya, a former aide to Dr Kizza Besigye, after footage circulated showing a man believed to be Mugumya in a weak condition. The newspaper reports that the UPDF had earlier denied holding Mugumya, and that security agencies had not clarified his whereabouts.
