Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted on X that security forces, on the Commander-in-Chief's instructions, had launched Operation 'Maliza Ufisadi' and would expand it to apprehend all culprits. PLU Secretary General and Kasambya County MP David Kabanda added that staff at Parliament would face an overhaul once the operation ended.
