Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted on X on Sunday that Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) had left the country on January 26 and had spent two months in the United States. Bobi Wine had announced about a week earlier that he had only recently left Uganda; the Daily Monitor says his social media activity around late January suggests he may still have been in the country.
