Policy & Legislation Verified Uganda (national) 25 Nov 2020 Severity: 1/5

State Minister for Animal Industry Bright Rwamirama told journalists at the Uganda Media Centre that the government had allowed livestock markets, closed in March as a Covid-19 measure, to reopen. According to The Independent, the guidelines bar markets in quarantined districts and within 20 kilometres of borders, and require fencing, hand-washing facilities, masks, temperature checks and operating hours of 7am to 3pm.

A national event, not tied to one district.
