According to ChimpReports, the International Crimes Division of the High Court ruled that Kibuuka John, Massajjage John and Nasur Abdallah Mugonole have a case to answer on the murder of former Assistant DPP Joan Kagezi. The court found that the killing appeared to have been for economic gain and acquitted the three of the terrorism charge; the defence hearing was set for 13-17 July 2026.
