IGG launches 2026 online asset declaration exercise for public officers

Inspector General of Government Aisha Naluzze launched the 2026 mandatory declaration of income, assets and liabilities for public officers, running online from April 1 to April 30 under the Leadership Code Act. She warned that officers who do not declare could face sanctions including dismissal, fines and possible imprisonment.
