IGG says preliminary investigations opened into former Speaker Anita Among after petitions

Inspector General of Government Aisha Naluzze Batala said her office had received several petitions against former Speaker Anita Among and had begun preliminary investigations, declining to give details. According to the Daily Monitor, complaints by Kampala-based lawyers allege that Among breached the Leadership Code Act by under-declaring or failing to declare her wealth.
