Kampala Metropolitan Police arrest over 300 suspects in three-day security operations

Kampala Metropolitan Police said they arrested more than 300 suspects in intelligence-led and joint security operations across several policing divisions of the Kampala Metropolitan Area over three days. Police spokesperson Rachael Kawala said the operations targeted people suspected of drug and substance abuse and of links to criminal gangs, and that several exhibits were recovered for investigation.
