In a statement released on Wednesday evening, Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga condemned what he called the torture and mistreatment of presidential and parliamentary aspirants, including tear gas and detention, ChimpReports reports. He urged government organs not to violate human rights while enforcing Covid-19 rules, while asking the public to keep observing them.
