Kizza Besigye and Obeid Lutale petition Constitutional Court against amended UPDF Act and Court Martial resumption

Detained opposition politician Dr Kizza Besigye and his co-accused Obeid Lutale, who face treason charges in the High Court, filed a petition in the Constitutional Court challenging provisions of the amended UPDF Act, The Independent reported. The petition also challenges the resumption of the General Court Martial to try civilians.
