Lands Minister Nabakooba urges Mityana local leaders to recover unpaid PDM, Emyooga and other livelihood funds

At meetings with local council leaders in sub-counties of Mityana North Constituency, Lands Minister and Mityana Woman MP Judith Nabakooba asked them to help recover money disbursed under PDM, Emyooga, YLP and UWEP, saying many beneficiaries had not repaid. The district commercial officer said Mityana had received Shs30.5 billion under PDM, with very low recovery in most parishes. The minister also warned leaders against misusing government stamps in land transactions.
