The Ministry of Works and Transport said heavy rain caused landslides near the Kanaba security checkpoint on the Kabale–Kisoro road, making parts of the road impassable for several hours. In a statement, the ministry warned motorists of delays and said a team had been deployed to clear debris and restore traffic.
