Lawyers for Jet Mwebaze demand EC release Mawogola North candidate Aine Godfrey Kaguta's academic documents

A group of law firms led by Elgon Advocates and Kampala Associated Advocates, acting for Mawogola North voter and candidate Jet Mwebaze, wrote again to the Electoral Commission seeking certified copies of the academic documents rival candidate Aine Godfrey Kaguta submitted at nomination, ChimpReports reported. The EC acknowledged receipt but had not said publicly whether it would release them. Earlier, UNEB had told the lawyers it does not hold certified copies of such certificates.
