ICT and National Guidance Minister Chris Baryomunsi said on behalf of the government that NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi is not a wanted man and that no security organ is pursuing him, and urged him to return home. Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja also said no one was looking for Kyagulanyi and called his hiding unnecessary, according to ChimpReports.
