Ministry of Health reports 11 child deaths in Napak measles outbreak

The Ministry of Health said in a situation update that a measles outbreak in Napak District had reached 74 cases and 11 deaths of children across all 12 sub-counties. According to the ministry, the outbreak was confirmed on 19 November after a suspected case was admitted at Matany Hospital on 15 November, and a mass measles-rubella vaccination campaign had not yet begun.
