Ministry of Health sets up national task force to stop misuse of government mosquito nets

According to The Observer, the Ministry of Health has formed a national task force, with district teams led by resident district commissioners and sub-county and village teams, to monitor the use of government-supplied mosquito nets. The ministry's director general of health services, Dr Henry Mwebesa, said the teams would also investigate theft and resale of nets, citing reports of people selling distributed nets to raise money during COVID-19.
