Ministry of Health tasks district taskforces to monitor use of distributed mosquito nets

In a statement by Director General Health Services Dr Henry G Mwebesa, the Ministry of Health said it had reinforced district taskforces, headed by Resident District Commissioners, to monitor the use of nets distributed under the 'under the net' campaign. Dr Mwebesa said this followed reports that some residents were selling the nets, and that village teams would check homes and sensitise communities.
