Ministry of Local Government issues trade order directives to local governments

According to the Daily Monitor, a 10 March letter from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Ben Kumamanya, set out trade order measures for local governments. These included removing campaign posters, cleaning markets and trading spaces, painting buildings, paving frontages and providing security and dustbins, and empowered cities to streamline public transport.
