Ministry of Public Service orders December salaries and pensions paid by 23 December

In a circular dated 12 December 2025 and signed by Permanent Secretary Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwiire, the Ministry of Public Service directed accounting officers in ministries, departments, agencies and local governments to pay December salaries and pensions by 23 December, Nile Post reported. The ministry said the date was brought forward from the usual 28th of the month because of festive-season expenses.
