During an oversight visit by the Ministry of Economic Monitoring to Kalaki District, officials said only about Shs5 million had been recovered from roughly Shs12 billion in Parish Development Model funds disbursed to beneficiaries. According to the Daily Monitor, the exercise assessed the implementation of the PDM, Emyooga and cattle-restocking programmes in the district.
